EVSC Signs Deal To Secure Trainers
Athletic trainers have been an integral part of the high school sports scene for decades. A new partnership with St. Mary's Health System, Tri-State Orthopaedics and ProRehab announced Tuesday at Enlow Field now insures that trainers will remain a part of the EVSC's athletic landscape well into the future.

"We're proud to announce this unique partnership," said Paul Neidig, the EVSCs Deputy Chief of Staff and Athletic Director. "This solidifies the athletic trainer program in the EVSC for years to come. "Understand, they're not providing something we haven't had. Trainers and medical assistance have been provided at athletic contests for many years and will continue. "But this isn't just about formalizing those associations. This is a boost for the EVSC financially. We paid stipends for athletic trainers in the past, but this takes them out of the general fund. That's the direct benefit." Read More
