At ProRehab, we treat patients with all types of knee injuries, conditions, and pain. Our patients most commonly see us for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries and total knee replacements.
Anterior Cruciate Ligament
ACL injuries can result from a blow to the knee or a simple twist of the knee. Physical Therapy can help in a conservative approach to an ACL injury by restoring strength, balance, and flexibility to the knee. ACL injuries often require surgical intervention. At ProRehab we work closely with your physician and rely on our sports medicine expertise to help facilitate the best route to recovery for you.
We can also assist you in prevention of injuries, ACL injuries being one of the most common preventable injuries from non-contact blows.
Conservative care approaches offered by ProRehab expert staff using integrative evidenced based techniques allows our patients the opportunity to decrease pain and increase function without needing surgical intervention. ProRehab uses techniques which address range of motion not only at the knee but at the hip, ankle, and spine, incorporating techniques from the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA).
Total Knee Replacement
ProRehab physical therapists work closely with your physician to ensure a smooth rehab process for you, allowing you to achieve your goals as quickly as possible. We work with you to restore flexibility, strength and function.
